15,000

Here at the Thinker, we just hit 15,000 "unique" visitors. I know many of them are me, but not all of them. Thanks to those who stop by and visit, comment, and hopefully enjoy some of what we write here. Any of you who stop by and want to say hi, or tell us why you visit or where you found us, we'd be glad to hear from you.

Once again, thanks for visiting, and we'll keep writing!

Pete, you're our touchstone of sanity. You've made the past few years a little easier to stomach......

Thanks, Bradley, but's it's the whole team, not me.

Thanks to the whole team for the effort. I don't always agree with you (I'm a wanna be conservative), but your insight and intellect are much appreciated and quite enjoyed!

Keep up the great work!

(Oh, about those 15,000 hits... one of them was Ann Coulter, and since reality isn't in her precint that hit will be thrown out.)

Thanks, INN. Hell, I don't agree with me all the time.

I have no problem with conservatives (I married one!) We can always have a policy discussion on economics, the role of government, etc. As you well know, though, the people we object to here are not conservative. They are ideological radicals who cast aside anything that stands in their way, including the constitution, the rule of law and basic human decency.

To echo Peter, I have had stimulating and fruitful discussions with thoughtful fiscal conservatives. I have seen the reasoning and on occasions the wisdom of their beliefs. I have had a harder time with social conservatives of all stripes, mainly because I find them so absolute in their beliefs - there is no shade of gray in their world, no opportunity to allow for another sedt of beliefs to sit side-by-side with theirs.

I am happy to be a part of this blog. The signal-to-noise ratio remains very high, and that is reassuring in these interesting times.
