Wingnut Debate Prequel: Herman Cain Blames Sinister "DEMOCRAT MACHINE"

Herman Cain continued his two-fisted assault on Herman Cain's integrity, insisting that Herman Cain is a perfect A = A businessman politician who is being persecuted by the sinister, shadowy "DEMOCRAT MACHINE" whose omniscient EE-VIL powers include brainwashing Teabaggers into bowing to their commands: "The Democrat Machine in America has brought forth a troubled woman to make false accusations."

Wow. Herman, you got us. I never thought it could be possible. We set up such an elaborate screen of deception and disinformation. It’s astonishing how you, wingnuts and Teabaggers all, Limbaugh, Coulter, Fox and The Daily Caller have smoked out such a vast left-wing conspiracy geared up just to smear Herman Cain with charges of sexual harassment. “Our blacks are better than their blacks,” railed the Coultergeist indignantly. Rush Limbaugh, the leader of the Republican Party, scolded Republicans cowed by the "DEMOCRAT MACHINE" and its Beltway Media propaganda arm, POLITICO. (We should have known they were onto us when that wingnut DC chick showed up at Chris's book party trying to get someone to grope her.)

Whining that the sinister "DEMOCRAT MACHINE" was out to "wreck my character and plant doubt in the minds of voters," Herman Cain raged against the DEUS EX "DEMOCRAT" MACHINA in America: "I have said this before: There will probably be others: Not because I'm aware of any, but because the machine to keep a businessman out of the White House is going to be relentless." Meanwhile, the gallant frat house wingnuts from the Daily Caller rallied to Herman Cain's defense, 'reporting' that "Herman Cain said Tuesday he doesn’t even recognize, much less recall, Sharon Bialek, the woman who is accusing him of sexual harassment." Really? That's funny, because the Chicago Sun-Times ran an eyewitness account of the meeting last month between Sharon Bialek and Herman "I don’t remember this person by name" Cain that doesn't jive with Cain's memory loss:
The Cain Encounter ...

They hugged each other backstage in a full embrace like old friends.

She grabbed his arm and whispered in his left ear.

She kept talking as he bent to listen, and he kept saying “Uh, huh. Uh, huh.”

Huh?

“I don’t know if what she was giving him was a sucker punch, but he didn’t put his arm down while she was talking to him,” said the Sneed source.

◆The “he”... is GOP presidential contender Herman Cain, who has been accused of sexual harassment by several women.

◆The “she”... is Chicagoan Sharon Bialek, who held a news conference Tuesday as the only woman to PUBLICLY accuse Cain of sexual harassment.

◆The Sneed source ... is WIND radio co-host Amy Jacobson, who tells Sneed she witnessed the Cain/Bialek encounter a month ago while backstage at the AM 560 WIND sponsored TeaCon meeting in Schaumburg Sept. 30-Oct. 1 at the Renaissance Hotel and Convention Center.

◆Quoth Jacobson: “I had turned on TV to find out who was Cain’s accuser, and I almost fell over when I saw it was Sharon Bialek accusing Cain of groping her genitals.”

“I was waiting for Herman Cain’s ‘Accuser No. 4’ to surface — and up pops Sharon!”

“I couldn’t believe it. I was shocked.”

“I recall Sharon was hell bent on going backstage at the TeaCon convention — where she cornered him,” said Jacobson.

“I was surprised to hear she claims she did not know Cain was going to be there. Cain was expected and was late.”

Bialek told the media on Monday: “I went up to him and asked him if he remembered me. I wanted to see if he would be man enough to own up to what he had done 14 years ago.”

◆The encounter: “It looked sort of flirtatious,” said Jacobson. “I mean they were hugging. But she could have been giving him the kiss of death for all I know. I had no idea what they were talking about, but she was inches from his ear.”

◆The introduction: “It all began when I took a convention break and joined my pals at the hotel bar. Sharon was drinking Mimosas with them. She said she was a Republican, a Tea Party member, had once dated [White Sox sports announcer’ Steve Stone] and had worked at WGN radio.”

◆The rendezvous: Sharon also said she was anxious to meet Cain again and had once gone to an afterparty with him and her boyfriend years ago. But she never mentioned he had sexually harassed her.”

◆The upshot: Bialek has since applied for employment in sales at WIND radio and is scheduled for a second interview Thursday.
Then, in a typical Daily Caller dish of misinformation, this breathless headline trumpeted "Second Cain accuser is Obama administration communications pro." No doubt, this is supposed to establish the sinister "DEMOCRAT MACHINE" connection: "The Daily (an i-Pad only news outlet which revealed this accuser's identity) reports that Karen Kraushaar, a communications director at the Treasury Department’s Office of Inspector General, was a National Restaurant Association spokesperson when, she alleges, Cain’s inappropriate behavior took place."

What the Daily Caller failed to report is that Ms. Kraushaar is a civil servant and registered Republican who, "went to work in communications for the Department of Justice, where she was the spokesperson for the agency during the Elian Gonzalez repatriation controversy. She then moved to the IRS, where she also worked in communications, and is now communications director for the Treasury Department's Inspector General for Tax Administration." Trans: She is a 12-year federal employee having worked for eight of those years at the IRS under the Bush administration. OOPS. Needless to say, now that the Daily Caller is trying to distance itself from Cain and eventually throw him under the bus, there's no room on their mud-splattered front page for this story ... plenty of white space, though.

As Herman "A = A" Cain tries his best third person impression of famous pulp fiction rapist, Ayn Rand's Howard Roark, "I have never acted inappropriately with anyone. Period," here's the kicker: Sharon Bialek is a self-described Tea Party member. “It all began when I took a convention break and joined my pals at the hotel bar. Sharon was drinking Mimosas with them. She said she was a Republican, a Tea Party member, had once dated [White Sox sports announcer’ Steve Stone] and had worked at WGN radio.”

OH MY. Be afraid, Teabaggers. Be very afraid. For if the sinister "DEMOCRAT MACHINE" can turn a Mimosa-drinking Tea Party member, imagine what they'll do when they grab you by the proverbial balls. Metaphorically speaking, of course. But can you feel the squeezing pressure already ... can you feel the pain after last night? Owowow ... let it out, Teabaggers. It's OK to squeal. It's OK to cry.

HEY HO, OHIO! KASICH-KOCHS-TEABAGGERS GET A BIG F-ING HEAVE-HO!

POWER TO THE PEOPLE! 61 percent NO! on Ballot Measure 2, striking down the Kasich Union-busting bill to 39 percent from the wingnuts/Teabagger Kasich-Koch corporate TOOLS who voted yes. This is A CRUSHING BLOW FOR THE REPUBLICAN/TEA PARTY, and their RADICAL national agenda to destroy the middle class.

The Kasich-Koch-Teabagger UNION BUSTING bill rammed down the people's throats was sent to ATOM-SPLITTING DEFEAT by the good people of OHIO who SHOUTED a loud and clear NO! to the wingnut cabal of out-of-state KOCH money, Karl Rove dirty tricks, and the sustained misinformation campaign from carpetbaggers Pat Boone, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Liz Cheney, and Mike Hucabee, who had the AUDACITY to mock the expression of people democracy in Ohio ... this is what passes as wingnut humor — HAHAHA, just hilarious, these ratbastards:

RIGHT BACK AT YA, TEABAGGERS. Go read an American History book, fools, instead of running around in your idiotic costumes, waving the Constitution around, presuming to speak for the American people while working to squelch and suppress the people's vote. Topping the cake, in Maine, after the Republican legislature struck down a 38-year old law permitting election day voter registration, the people slapped them down reinstating it by equally overwhelming margins. The people have gotten wise to these ratbastard Republicans/Teabaggers and their extremist agenda. In Mississippi, a REPUBLICAN state, the people struck down a ballot measure that would grant personhood to a fertilized egg and effectively outlaw abortion and some means of contraception.

The radical right's extremist agenda IS IN RETREAT throughout the nation. Progressives, liberals, democrats, unions, the 99 percenters are on the march. You have awakened a sleeping giant, Teabaggers. YOU.ARE.TOAST.

What Excuses Will Herman Cain Dish Out Today?

Here is Cain's accuser, Sharon Bialek, telling an all too sordid and familiar tale of sexual assault in the workplace (fired employee seeking to get her job back qualifies) involving an inappropriate power relationship between a boss and a subordinate, in which the boss seeks sexual favors in exchange for a job, a promotion, or some special financial consideration. Willing subordinates (and they do exist, as the thorny legal issue of sorting out what is rape or sexual assault versus a "consensual" relationship will attest) might as well cut to the chase and avoid "misunderstandings" by carrying a sign which says: "WILL GIVE BLOW JOB FOR 15% RAISE AND/OR REGULAR JOB."

Kidding, of course ... sort of. Similar arrangements proliferate on the internet, typically between "sugar daddies" (or mommas) and students saddled with ginormous student loan debt. If you lack an athletic skill, sex is often the fall-back position. And even in the now infamous Penn State athletics (football) program, a sexual predator is allowed to ply his sickening child sexual abuse while remaining an upstanding member of the college jocks elite. The evidence of abuse was there, in disturbing plain sight. The janitor who witnessed one such incident and reported it, a Korean War veteran, was so distressed his friends thought he was on the verge of a heart attack. But those in power turned a blind eye. Legendary Penn State coach Joe Paterno, whose record as winningest college football coach will forever and appropriately be defined by this nearly unspeakable sex scandal, did only enough to pass the buck upstairs to administration, and stay out of legal trouble. The child predator, coach Jerry Sandusky, used a "charity" for disadvantaged children which he founded to take his pick of the victims — like a priest to his altar boys. Sandusky even took one of the children he was sexually abusing to church. The first thing that comes to mind is, was it the Catholic Church?

J'accuse. I accuse Republicans of promoting prostitution by killing off the American dream of an affordable college education for the middle class and the poor. I accuse Republicans of turning a once great nation into a huge whorehouse in which money and power relationships rule. I accuse Republicans of neutering government to protect the rich and the powerful instead of the weak and the poor, of coddling the money changers and turning Wall Street, the Temple of American Capitalism, into a den of thieves. Rachel hosted Bishop Gene Robinson of the Episcopal Diocese of New Hampshire, for her interview last night. He spoke of his experience among the Occupy Wall Street movement. We could use more Episcopal, more genuine Jesus, and a lot less Catholic and evangelical in our spiritual, economic, cultural and political lives. Watch:

So what will Herman Cain say today in his defense, other than "I didn't do it" — what can he say? The day after I wrote "[b]ack in the day, when journalism still existed within a written and unwritten code of ethics, there were, to my mind, only three types of anonymous or confidential sources which journalists were honor-bound to protect with their lives" ... [cont. below], Herman Cain testily told reporters to go "check the journalistic code of ethics." As if he knew such a thing existed or could tell the difference between the journalistic code of ethics and his own. I wrote that in a broader context which had little to do with Cain, because I also wrote, with my usual incisiveness, "[l]et's face it: Conventional wisdom holds that these sexual harassment accusations may well sink the Cain campaign, such as it is" and "[g]iven my low opinion of Herman Cain — which goes for all Republicans, because in my "Christian" world I consider a person's character to be inextricably linked to how they treat the least among us; and to be a Republican you must accept unacceptable things, so you're all going to Hell — personally, I have little doubt there's plenty of damning evidence that he actually sexually harassed those two women, just as Clarence Thomas sexually harassed Anita Hill."

This blog is also known as the Zeitgeist Formulator, we're cutting edge, we cut to the chase and the heart of the matter and boldly go where others dare not venture. So at the risk of providing the Herman Cain campaign with new excuses for obfuscation, these are Cain's limited options, as I see it:
(1) Deny everything; standard reflexive response from guilty politicians which only serves to incense and provoke the blood-thirsty media pack. It's like kicking a hornet's nest, and it never works.

(2) Cast aspersions on the accuser. Rush Limbaugh mocked her name, said it rhymed with "by or buy(?) a lick" — amazing how such a juvenile guttersnipe can make tens of millions from it. Raise doubts based on her personal appearance, demeanor, and dress. (You can't judge a book by its cover, except that you do.) This is a favorite lecherous Republican line of attack, fond as the are of justifying rape and sexual assault asserting a woman invited it by the way she was dressed. It's always the wanton, fallen woman's fault. The media says Bialek is "credible" but their standards in these matters are lax. I'm guilty as charged, too, but the hair covering her left eye really bugged me, like nails scraping a chalkboard. It's a pet peeve that didn't go unnoticed to a reporter or photographer in the room who asked her to move the wayward hair. If you're going to have a bad hair day, don't do it by design. Sometimes this works because the accused's supporters are asked, insinuatingly, to make a subjective judgment of her credibility based entirely on the superficiality of her outward appearance. For those predisposed toward Herman Cain, that could be enough.

(3) Blame the media, blame the opponent campaigns, blame liberals, blame Hollywood, blame the poor, blame the unemployed, blame the French, Greece and Italy, blame Obama, blame Occupy Wall Street, blame Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, blame the economy ... In short, blame everyone and everything but yourself. That could work if not for, as the POLITICO politicos breathing an almost audible sigh of relief said, "we now have a face and a name." This train has left the station, Herman.

(4) Finally, though, the only avenue open to Herman Cain if he wants to ensure his campaign's ultimate survivability is this: COME CLEAN, Herman. Tell the truth, admit mistakes of "judgment" were made, ask forgiveness for your sins and throw yourself on the mercy of your Christian (in-name-only) supporters. Evangelicals are big on the redemption and salvation of sinners. It's like an escape clause that allows them to be Christ-like and sinful hypocrites at the same time. Everything is forgiven as long as you're not one of those highly ethical, utterly moral "secular humanists" and "socialists." Remember, reaffirming "In God We Trust" is far more important than passing a jobs bill that will put hundreds of thousands of unemployed Americans to work.
If that fails, Herman Cain can always try the nuclear option: 'Bubba Big Dog' Bill "I never had sexual relations with that woman" Clinton. But I wouldn't advise it. In truth, don't even go there, Herman, because, well, you're no Bill Clinton.

Media Is HIGH On Ecstasy Today

They live for days like these: (1) Fourth Herman Cain sexual harassment accuser comes forward; and (2) Michael Jackson 'Doctor Feelgood' found guilty of involuntary manslaughter. (Editorial obs: Can't these women accusers keep the hair out of their eyes; what's up with that? And will the Jackson doctor be safe in prison, given the heightened emotions generated by this case with the crowds outside screaming for his conviction?) Attorney Gloria Allred: "Mr. Cain decided to provide her with his idea of a stimulus package." OH MY ...

Herman Cain: A Toon Retrospective ... 'Herman, We (Obviously) Hardly Knew Ye'

HERMAN, please don’t leave us, baby … We’re OH, SO gonna miss ya … But if your campaign ends in the CRU-WELL buzzsaw of sexual harassment accusations … There’s always the Beatles to fall back on:

High Tech Lynching ... Why Are Wingnuts Such Pansy-Ass Whiners?

Here are the FACTS. Herman Cain was accused 12 years ago of sexual harassment. The story was leaked to POLITICO by politicos who would like to end his candidacy cold — take your pick: Karl Rove, Rick Perry, Mitt Romney — who set off a diversion, blaming the mythical "liberal media" for this nefarious plot. Herman Cain himself trumpeted that line for a while. It comes naturally to one who said Jesus was killed by liberals. Doesn't he know us "bleeding heart" liberals oppose the death penalty and cruel and unusual punishment?

Then Cain blamed Rick Perry. A reasonable possibility. Now his defenders (Limbaugh) are fulminating against the "so-called mainstream media" since liberals, inconveniently for them, are Herman Cain boosters. The man is such an incompetent fool, from ignorance of foreign policy and military realities (like, oh ... China has been a nuclear nation since 1964), to not knowing the difference between "social conservatives" and "neocons" — wingnuts, for short — that we couldn't have invented a better front man for the know-nothing Republican/Tea Party if we tried. But the man insists instead on playing the victim card while comparing himself to Moses. Christ! Now his friends have produced a video dredging up the old Clarence Thomas "high tech lynching" line:

A slick piece of wingnut crapaganda, indeed.

What ever happened to the "high tech lynching" of Anita Hill, an African American professor whose credible charge of sexual abuse by Thomas earned her contemptuous and abusive interrogation by a bunch of lecherous white Republican senators? How come the media frenzy surrounding the Anthony Weiner tweets of his penis to Twitter lady pals wasn't a "high tech lynching"? Must've been because the story was broken by a credible asswipe like wingnut provocateur Andrew Breitbart. I wrote that Weiner should step down, not just that he lied about the tweets, as Herman Cain has lied about his sexual harassment allegations, but because the media frenzy surrounding his high tech penile lynching wasn't survivable in the current "media climate," as Chuckles Toddy put it so well. Chuckles knows from his shallow Beltway media. Of course, the irony is that Weiner only embarrassed himself and his family, friends and supporters, but he never abused nor was accused of sexually abusing anyone!

Yo Pigman, repulsive liar and hypocrite: Stop whining already; What's good for the goose is good for the gander. Didn't you know?
