McCain gives up on Michigan

All the analyses show that if Obama holds on to Michigan and Pennsylvania, he'll be awfully tough to beat. Well, McCain has conceded one of those.

Actually, Nate Silver at 538 has Obama's chances of winning the election at 98.4% if he wins BOTH MI and OH and 99.4% if he wins PA as well... Right now, Obama's chances of winning in an electorial landslide (375+ EV) are better (25%) than McCain's chances of getting to 270 (16%). However, the real issue here lies with the congress. It is looking like the Dems can control at least 56 senate seats (and I'll be ECSTATIC to see it drop to 55, once Lieberman is kicked to the curb) - and stand to gain something like 35 to 40 more house seats.
