President Bush on Thursday defended his administration's decision to allow a company from an Arab country to operate six major U.S. ports, saying, "People don't need to worry about security."So, there's no need to worry about security. This from the man who's spent 4 1/2 years trying to scare the pants off us with every sentence out of his mouth. Indeed.
"This deal wouldn't go forward if we were concerned about the security for the United States of America," Bush told reporters during a Cabinet meeting.

Hmmm...play connect the money dots. You find some familiar names--Treasury Secretary Snow and his former company CSX, the UAE and--THE CARLYLE GROUP.
So it looks like the Bushites are, in their farewell tour, saying f*** you all, we're taking the money.
You left out the part about Bush "not knowing" about the whole deal... two weeks after appointing a former exec from the DP World to work under the Sec. of Trans.
