The Twilight Zone

You're traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind, a journey into...

The Twilight Zone

Our story begins at a panel discussion on health care. It begins quietly enough, but gradually, the audience seeking answers to difficult questions comes to realize that the unthinkable has happened, that their land has been occupied by unspeakable monsters. They sit, they listen, and they hear:

My attitude is that the United States is a leader of the world, and by putting good policies in place, we'll remain the leader of the world, and that's where we should be. And so here are some ideas as to how to do that. One, is to keep taxes low. I believe when people have more money in their pockets it helps the entrepreneurial spirit, causes the economy to grow. One reason we overcame the recession and the stock market collapse and the attacks on our country and the wars we've been through and the natural disasters we've been through is because people have got more money to save and invest and spend. And so I'm looking forward to working with Congress to keep the taxes low, and, at the same time, be wise about how we spend the people's money.

So the war on terror is over, the Gulf Coast has been rebuilt and is well-protected in case of another large hurricane, and we're safer and more prosperous than ever because taxes were cut?

I knew there had to be a reason that everything was running perfectly.

Dr. Magoo, you must be one rich bastard if you benifitted from the tax cuts. Based on the latest (2003) data "tax cut analysis showed that more than 70 percent of the tax savings on investment income went to the top 2 percent, about 2.6 million taxpayers" (cnn money)

Is this blog another part of the "Left Wing Media" that's is owned are run by rich conservatives?

:^) <- sarcasm smile.

I thought we were run by the Illuminati. Did I miss a memo?

Actually, Doc - yes, you missed the memo. It must have been stuck to your confidential copy of the Roswell Report!

That fits my theory. 50% of the "liberal" media (100 largest circ. news print) endorsed Bush.

They allow half-wit articles to mention mediocre, pseudo slap on the wrist stuff about Bush just so it gives them reason to scream about "Liberal Media Agendas!".

I knew you guys were part of it.

And the People's Front of Judea.

We're the People's Front of Judea!

Oh. I thought we were the Popular Front.

People's Front!

Whatever happened to the Popular Front, Reg?

He's over there.
