Almost killed by shrine gawkers.....

As a recent survivor of shrine gawker idiocy, I would like to dedicate this roadside shrine to all the innocent people killed by morons gawking at roadside shrines.

The roadside shrine phenomena has always puzzled me. I know that it is supposed to be cathartic to those most directly affected by the death(s) - but I find it mostly weird and depressing and pointless.
