I apologize for my absence. Besides making merry, I lost about a week with this year's version of the flu. It's a big one, it's a bad one. I don't know anything about flu shots, but if it's not too late--get one.
The rumor mill on Mike Bloomberg is heating up, and I hear that Chuck Hagel can't wait to be his veep. I'd almost bet that whoever "wins" the GOP nomination, sad sack lot that they are, will be hurt more than the Dems.
He can outspend either nominee without putting a big dent in the family fortune, and can get on the ballot in every state. he also just might prompt a real debate on the electoral college.
