What are you doing on Election Day?
I've got some pretty optimistic predictions up below, but then again, I've always been somewhat of a reckless optimist. What we need to make them come true is for Democratic and Independent voters to show up next Tuesday and then to make sure their votes count. So, all you out there in thinker-land, any plans to help on Tuesday?

I'm going to be an election judge in the great city of Chicago. I haven't blogged about it (though I will when it's over).
Motivation: the primary last spring was a disaster, as new technology overwhelmed the largely computer illiterate election judge pool. Paraphrasing Forrest Gump, I may not be a smart man, but I do know what computers are.
I'm lucky enough to have been assigned to my home precinct. Since in Chicago we must register as representatives of our Party, I will be proud to sit there with a big "DEMOCRAT" sticker on as my neighbors file in.
I am helping out the Duckworth effort to GOTV on Tuesday...
I'm going to go where anybody needs me...I'm getting calls from the Duckworth camp, but I'm also wondering about John Laesch and whether or not they could use some GOTV help. My precinct is pretty much a lost cause (I'm in Will County and Democrats are pretty scarce).
