Once again Will Rogers is proven right--I'm not a member of any organized political party, I'm a Democrat.
Rep. Charles Rangel of New York says of the world's new favorite standup comedian, Hugo Chavez, that "if there's any criticism of President Bush, it should be restricted to Americans - whether we voted for him or not."
How patently absurd. Has Charlie forgotten 1) that whole free speech thing, 2) that our president tried to engineer a coup to overthrow Chavez, 3) this was the United Nations, an international forum and 4) as the 800-lb gorilla, our actions have a direct impact on other countries?
Nancy Pelosi doubles up on that, objecting to the name-calling and disrespect shown to our president by--calling Chavez an "everyday thug."
Nice work, guys.

I was really disappointed in those statements. We don't have to go around calling Bush Satan - I mean, he's Hitler, for crying out loud, but still - but Rangel and Pelosi were pathetic.
See, if Bush had gotten his way Chavez would be sitting in a Romanian prison with batteries hooked to his manhood and we'd be less troubled by those silly comments he made.
Now where did I put Article 3 and my eraser?
Oh, and that coup to overthrow Chavez; one more Bush failure.
There is no difference between the two parties. It's all a charade. Quite simply it's us vs. them.
I think there is a difference. If a foreign leader had come here and criticized Clinton, do you honestly think Tom Delay or Bill Frist would have said anything other than "hell YEAH!" ?
