It seems to me the democratic party should pile on here and absolutely bury Lieberman while they have the chance. Lieberman's primary defeat gives democrats the appearance of cahones. When Lieberman came up on the wrong side of one of the most important issues of our time, even slick willy couldn't grease him up enough to get him through the door. That's a clear message, and clear messages are not the democrats' strong point. This is an opportunity.
