I've wondered about Rodin's famous sculpture. Is he engaged in deep thought or sitting around wasting time? And why isn't he wearing pants? I ask the same of myself. They have actually done a decent job at increasing funding for AIDS prevention and treatment in Africa. I'm pretty sure that's it, though.

And also the good done by any non-abstinence funding may be offset by the damage done to the continent with our support of murderous regimes that "help" us with the "war on terror."
But if you're looking for a high point, there it is. Not much of one, mind you, but it's not, y'know, Katrina-esque.
