That sums it up in so many ways.
Odd how much both parties have changed since the days of Lincoln.
You know, the Republican party's lineage to Lincoln ended with T.R. the moment he abandoned it to form his Bull Moose 3rd party.
The names have flipped, because today Lincoln's party is the Democratic party of Obama.
This is a changed country. This kind of election only comes along once in a century. 1860. 1932. 2008.
