I've wondered about Rodin's famous sculpture. Is he engaged in deep thought or sitting around wasting time? And why isn't he wearing pants? I ask the same of myself. Here we comment on well, mostly politics. Or we may just sit! If you like it, tell a friend. If not, tell us, but please read the GROUND RULES before you do.

Ted in Duress?
Apparently Ted Kennedy was taken out after a seizure?
That's true. Ted had an apparent seizure during the luncheon and was wheeled out and taken away by ambulance. Orrin Hatch, who accompanied the EMT personnel, along with Sens. Kerry and Dodd, said Ted Kennedy seemed to be in some pain but was conscious, and as he was loaded into the ambulance gave Hatch "that old Irish grin." So Hatch said he thinks Ted "will be all right." Hatch and Kennedy are an odd couple of sorts. Political opposites who are very close friends.

ReplyDeleteTeddy Update: good news -
ReplyDeleteHe's awake, answering questions, and being "assessed" by the doctors. His condition has improved and is apparently not life-threatening.
