I've wondered about Rodin's famous sculpture. Is he engaged in deep thought or sitting around wasting time? And why isn't he wearing pants? I ask the same of myself. Man Bites Dog!
In the spirit of that most improbable headline, the Chicago Tribune has done what I would have thought impossible:
It's even weirder than that: all 7 endorsements they make for the US House today are Democrats!!!

Schmidlap - most of those people are entrenched Dems in districts that will never go Republican. Let's see if they also endorse Laetsch, etc.
ReplyDeleteGood point. In the past, they've tended to make House endorsements based on their notion of the political makeup of the district.
ReplyDeleteThat said, the Duckworth endorsement is still notable, as that's West Crackerstan out there.
Regardless of what happens in the election, the day Henry Hyde is no longer a member of Congress will be a great day for this nation.
