Stunt: Something done to attract attention or publicity.
Bill Frist called the Democratic action in the Senate a "stunt." The dictionary defines a "stunt" as "something done to attract attention or publicity." He should know:
And lest we forget just last summer 2004, Fristy Frist was campaigning against Tom Daschle in his own state, something that was taboo. It was a time honored tradition that the majority/minority party leader never campaign against the other majority/minority party leader. So, Dr. Frist, are "time honored traditions" only the ones that benefit your sorry ass and your sorry party?
