I've wondered about Rodin's famous sculpture. Is he engaged in deep thought or sitting around wasting time? And why isn't he wearing pants? I ask the same of myself. Here we comment on well, mostly politics. Or we may just sit! If you like it, tell a friend. If not, tell us, but please read the GROUND RULES before you do.

White House Press Briefing: Robert Gibbs Mocks Sarah Palin
Even White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs got into the act funning Sister Sarah, Queen of the Teabaggers. Watch:
I don't see her as presidential material. However, I don't know which is worse: talking points scribbled on your palm like in high school debate, OR speeches written out word for word on a teleprompter. For me, it is a toss up. And Gibbs does not have a funny bone in his body. Although I don't really care he was poking fun at Sarah Palin, his timing is just tragic. I wonder who put him up to it.
She might not be presidential material but she can win the GOP nomination. Republicans are scared to death about that.
Re: the teleprompter, you forget (is this intentional with Republicans?) one minor detail: President Obama writes his own speeches, and he's written two books -- no ghost writers -- HIMSELF. Those who trash him for reading from a teleprompter are spitting into the wind. It's a common thing for world leaders giving a speech. The days of shuffling papers on a podium for major speeches disappeared decades ago. Reagan was just as good as Obama with a teleprompter. Not so GWB, who squints a lot and needs index cards or a folder with about five BIG words per page/card.
I'm surprised you'd bring this non-issue up after the president demolished 140 House Republicans with no teleprompter or notes, using nothing but his superior intellect.
Re: Robert Gibbs. I thought it was amusing. He's a nice guy; everyone in the WH press corps likes him, even that Major what's his name from Fixed News.
Palin's hand job just shows all of us what kind of dullard we are up against. WOW and some call her a leader....please.
